Vintage Rose Gold Size 5.75 Synthetic Ruby Ring / ca. 1940s / 10k Gold
Vintage 1940s 10k gold ring showcasing a cushion cut synthetic ruby resting in a four prong mounting with delicate scrolled accents on the shoulders. The synthetic ruby has a very bright appearance with nice flashes of light.
The ring is in very good condition for its age. It does have an interesting patina with some discoloration. I think the gold is mixed with copper giving it a rosy yet tarnished appearance. It can be polished upon request.
The ring is a size 5.75 and can be sized. The stone measures approx. 8mm x 6.5mm. The shoulders of the ring taper from 4mm to 2mm at the base.
