Vintage Marquise Cut Carnelian Ring in 14k Yellow Gold / Size 7.25 / ca. 1960s
Vintage 1960s 14k yellow gold ring showcasing an attractive marquise cut reddish orange carnelian set in a split prong setting with open work carved details on the bottom of the mounting. The top of the ring measures 22.5 mm (or about 7/8" long) by 7.5mm wide.
The chic ring is a size 7-1/4 and can be sized. The shoulders of the ring taper from 2.1mm to 1.8mm at the base.
The ring is in great condition for its age, with one small spot of discoloration on the carnelian (see photos).
