Vintage 1950s Size 6.75 14k Two Tone Gold & Diamond Princess Ring
Vintage 14k solid gold ring with an oval shaped white gold face accented with single cut diamonds creating a starburst motif atop the finger. Rings featuring this shape and style are often referred to as a "princess rings" because of their feminine, dainty, and elegant appearance. In contrast to the top of the ring (which is white), the shank was crafted in yellow gold with slim, polished shoulders.
The face of the ring measures 15.5mm wide x 9mm tall. The shoulders taper from 2mm to 1.5mm at the base. The ring contains 17 single cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 0.50 ct.
It is in very good condition for its age with some minor surface scratches and signs of wear. Solder seams are barely visible at the base of the shank due to a previous sizing. Polishing available upon request. The ring is currently a size 6.75 and can be resized.
