Vintage 1940s 14k Yellow Gold Etched Bangle Bracelet / 5.5"-6" wrist
Vintage 14k yellow gold bangle bracelet with etched foliate detailing on the front and back of the piece. The etching provides delicate dimension that elegantly catches the light. The gold has a rosy quality to it which makes me think it was made the 1940s. Copper was being more utilized for jewelry during this period due to wartime efforts requiring other materials previously used in jewelry making.
The bracelet measures 4.4mm wide. It opens with a hinge and push clasp that extends to fit over the wrist. It will suit a 5-1/2"- 6" wrist.
It is in very good condition for its age other than minor surface scratches and a small area of discoloration and a small dent near the clasp.
