Vintage 1940s 14k Two-Tone Gold Amethyst and Diamond Ring / Size 6.25
Petite vintage 14k yellow gold ring centering a faceted oval cut amethyst in a white gold mounting secured by four fish style prongs. The amethyst is flanked by a single cut diamond on each side. The two diamonds rest in box style mountings which lead into the smooth, polished ring shank. The diamonds have an approximate total weight of 0.05 ct. The amethyst measures 7mm x 5mm. It has a beautiful cut and nice sparkle. The shoulders of the ring taper from 3.5mm to 1.6mm at the base.
The ring is a size 6.25 and can be sized. It is in great condition for its age, without any noticeable imperfections.
