A charming and classic round bloomed gold locket from the Victorian era. Blooming was a process that removed all alloys from the surface of a piece of jewelry so that a thin layer of pure, soft gold remained. This locket is in excellent shape for its age and does not have a monogram which is hard to find these days!

The inside of the locket features a starburst design on each side with the inscription "Patented 1902" on one side. There are clear inserts on each side to secure your photos and small keepsakes. The locket closes with a firm snap.

It measures 1-5/8" (including the bail) x 1-1/4".

It hangs from a 25" 14k gold oval link chain.
