Antique Art Deco onyx ring in 10k white gold by jewelry manufacturer Belais. The ring features an elongated octagon shaped black onyx with a small bezel set diamond on one end. The onyx is set in claw prongs with an open work filigree undergallery and elegantly etched shoulders.
The ring was made by the Belais Manufacturing Company, one of the pioneers in white gold jewelry at the turn of the century. They formulated an alloy of white gold that was later patented and became so famous that people would often refer to white gold as "Belais gold".
The ring is in great condition for its age. It is a size 4.5 and can be sized slightly.
The shank width tapers from 2.7mm to 1.0 mm.
