Antique Victorian Gold Filled Opal and Paste Locket / Circa 1900s
Beautiful antique locket featuring a circular foliate pattern shimmering with paste stones in a cheerful fashion. A round opal rests in the center of the design in an etched, star recessed setting.
The piece is in great condition for its age, with some discoloration at the bail of the piece and on the inside, as well as some scratches on the edges and back (see photos).
The locket hangs from an 18" gold filled cable chain. It closes securely and the inside features a picture of a handsome couple. The back is plain with no monogram.
