Antique Victorian Amethyst Rose of Sharon Diamond Ring / 14k Yellow Gold / Size 5
Unique antique 14k rose gold Victorian ring showcasing a cushion shaped amethyst with a gold Rose of Sharon carved into the gem and set with a glimmering rose cut diamond measuring 1mm wide. The shoulders of the ring feature crisp engraving with foliate style details.
The inside of the ring has a faded inscription with a name that I am almost certain reads: "M.A. Clement".
The ring is in great condition for its age. There are some minor imperfections including a sizing seam on the inside of the ring and some light surface abrasions on the amethyst.
The ring is not stamped but tests for 14k gold.
It is a size 5 and can be sized up or down a couple sizes.
Shank width tapers from 5.5mm at the shoulders to 2.2mm at the base.
Circa 1880s
