Antique Victorian 18k Gold Size 4.25 Old Mine Cut Diamond Wedding Band / ca. 1897
Antique 18k yellow gold wedding band featuring five Old Mine cut diamonds resting in raised prong settings. The diamonds graduate in size, with the largest in the center, and weigh approximately 0.15 ct. total. The top measures 3.5mm tapering to 1.6mm at the base.
The band is a size 4.25. Sizing is possible but will likely interrupt the inscription and hallmarks on the inside of the ring. The inside features English hallmarks and a personal inscription reading "Ora from Peter" with the year 1897 inscribed on the other side. This is a fabulous sentimental piece of history.
The ring is in good condition for its age without any noticeable imperfections. Because the prongs are somewhat worn, I do not recommend wearing this piece as an everyday ring.
