Antique Edwardian 1.40 CTW Old Mine Cut Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring / 18k Gold & Platinum / Size 6.5 / ca. 1910s
Antique Edwardian trilogy ring showcasing three Old Mine cut diamonds in platinum claw prong mountings atop an 18k yellow gold shank. The ring has curves in all the right places and elegantly shows off the profiles of the chunky old cut diamonds. The center diamond weighs approximately 0.74 ct. with I color and SI1 clarity. The two diamonds flanking the center stone have an approximate weight of 0.66 ct. with G color and VS2 clarity. The rosy gold shank has a nice weight and width giving it a comfortable, substantial feel.
The ring is in good condition for its age. Please note that one of the diamonds has a small chip that is only visible under magnification and not detrimental to the overall integrity of the ring .
The ring is a size 6.5 and can be sized. The shoulders measure 3mm wide tapering to 3.2mm at the base.
