Antique Victorian 10k yellow gold ring centering a round opal in a milgrain edged bezel setting. The shoulders of the ring feature fanciful foliate style details with hand etching. The opal measures 6.5 mm wide. It is bright and fiery and nicely contrasts with the polished yellow gold setting.
The ring is a size 5.5 and can be sized. It is in excellent condition for its age -- there are some minor scratches on the opal which are not noticeable to the naked eye.
The shoulders of the ring measure 7 mm. wide tapering to 2.4 mm at the base.
