Antique Edwardian Size 8 Silver Topped 14k Yellow Gold Diamond Ring

$235.00

Antique Edwardian (ca. 1910s) silver topped 14k gold ring with an openwork domed top centering a bezel set antique cut diamond. The diamond is cushion shaped and has stunning hand-cut faceting that uniquely catches the light. Because the diamond is cushion shaped there is a small gap in the round bezel.

The shoulders of the ring feature a foliate design accented with two rose cut diamonds on each side. The top of the ring is made of silver leading into a 14k yellow gold shank. This was a common technique seen around the turn of the century in the Edwardian era.

The ring is a size 8 and can be sized. The face measures 9.7 mm tapering to 2mm at the base. It is in good condition though there is some patina / discoloration on the silver as well as the gold shank. This is truly a unique piece for the antique jewelry lover!
