An antique Edwardian 10k yellow gold locket from the early 1900s. The round locket features hand engraved scroll work, which creates a frame around the outer edge of the piece. Vertically patterned machine engraving decorates the inner frame, with a plain gold circle in the center.
The inside of the locket features a starburst design on both sides, and the back of the locket is plain.
The piece measures 15/16" in diameter. It closes with a firm snap. One of the sides on the inside of the locket has a plastic insert for a photo.
The jump ring is stamped 10k, and the locket tests for 10k as well.
Please note: the engraving is slightly worn and the inside of the locket has some discoloration that is consistent with its age. Please see photos.
