Antique Art Nouveau 9k Gold Ruby and Diamond Lion Locket / ca. 1910s / Monogram
Rare antique Art Nouveau 9k rose gold circular locket featuring the face of a lion with great detailing in high relief. The lion has two small ruby cabochons for eyes and an Old Mine cut diamond highlighting his mouth. The back of the locket features a monogram with hand engraved initials.
The piece is in good condition for its age but there are some signs of wear. The back of the locket is dented, and the inside displays some discoloration possibly from solder or tarnish. There are also some visible scratches on the inside of the locket. It does close with a firm snap.
