Antique Art Deco 1920s Platinum Wedding Band with Hand Engraving / Size 5.25
Antique platinum wedding band with hand engraved running leaf pattern repeating all the way around the finger. This is a classic Art Deco style seen on many wedding bands of the era. The running leaf pattern also accents the profile of the band on each side. The profile engraving still remains very crisp on one side but it is faded on the other side, indicating this band was worn up against another ring for much of its life. The engraving on the top is also slightly faded from loving wear.
Band measures 2 mm wide. It is a size 5.25 and cannot be sized without interrupting the pattern of the engraving.
It is in very good condition minus the aforementioned wear.
The inside of the band features a personal inscription: “P.L.F. to M.Mc.G July 25, 1922” (I’m not 100% sure on the initials — please contact me if you would like additional photos) :-)
