Antique Art Deco 0.45 CTW Diamond Ring in 14k White Gold / Size 6.5
Antique Art Deco platinum topped ring featuring a curving, hand-carved open work design glimmering with five Old European cut diamonds. The three diamonds in the center are set in bezels on a diagonal.
This ring appears to have been re-shanked at some point. The platinum top was later added to a 14k white gold ring shank, likely because the original shank had been lovingly worn thin.
The new shank is very sturdy and the ring is in great shape for its age. It has plenty years left of wear. There are some imperfections -- some of the milgrain on the top of the piece has been worn away.
It is a size 6.5 and can be sized. The top of the ring measures 9.5 mm top to bottom. The diamonds have an approximate total weight of 0.45 ct., with J/K color and SI1/2 clarity.
Circa 1930s.
Shank is stamped 14K
